Are you throwing away your STAR MONEY?

The 2007 middle class STAR rebate program

This summer the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance will mail postcards to property owners who received BASIC STAR with information

on how to apply for the new Middle Class Star Rebate Program.  This program is being handled by the NYS Department of Taxation and Finance.  This

particular program is NOT part of the assessor's responsibilities.  You need to read the post card very carefully and follow the instructions.   If you fail to

follow the instructions you may end up throwing away your rebate.

Take a minute and remind your neighbors to be on the look out for their post card from the NYS Department of Taxation and Finance this summer and

to follow the instructions.

NOTE:  Enhanced STAR recipients WILL NOT be receiving a post card.  They will automatically be mailed this rebate.
